Tomorrow Comes
Sitting alone, contemplating this solitary existence
My mind expands as I grapple with issues I can't contend
Taking on life one day at a time
Reach for reality or something that seems familiar
Moving forward in a fog trying to find my way
Slipping into darkness surrounded by pain and guilt
Surviving all the madness for reasons unknown
Dreaming of tomorrow and maybe better days to come
Close my eyes to hide my soul
Shield my heart to let know one in
And the vicious cycle continues
As night gives away to another dawn
